The Board of Directors meets at 8:00 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month in the Board Room
located in Preston Hall (605 Main Street)
Board Goals for 2009-2010
- Continue to focus on increasing student achievement through the support of curriculum development (particularly in the areas of math, science and social studies), common collaboration time and staff professional development that is driven by analysis of data that indicates student achievement towards meeting state standards.
- Sustain local support of current curricular, extra-curricular and student through running a successful two-year maintenance and operations levy.
- Activate a Technology Committee to develop the District's Technology Plan, 2010-2013 and to implement and monitor the District's technology program.
- Identify fiscal means of improving physical climate (air quality and ventilation) of buildings.
- Continue successful implementation of athletic combine with Prescott School District.
- Continue to provide fiscal services and space to the Cardinals' Nest (a 503c non-profit) outside of school program.
