Each year the Waitsburg Elementary staff spend many hours preparing for our students arrival – be it in the fall or sometime during the school year. To enable each child to achieve at higher levels, staff members attend classes and workshops so they might gain additional knowledge and skills. Why did they do this? Because we care about our students and their families. It is my hope that you will work in partnership with us to give each student the academic knowledge and skills, as well as the work ethics that will provide the foundations for success in life.
Parents/Guardians: I encourage you to dream dreams about the future of your child. I also encourage you to get involved in your child’s education by volunteering your time and talents. If your family’s situation does not enable you to spend time at school, there are always things you may be able to do at home. Just call the school to ask how you can help.
Students: I challenge each of you to be the best you can be, each day of your life. How can you be the best?
- Be a good citizen.
- Be at school every day we are in session
- Listen and follow the instructions of all school staff the first time they are given!
- Take time to organize yourself – before you leave for school in the morning and before you head home in the afternoon.
